Since 2015 I have been part of the Lamajara Collective, a group of artists who understand and practice a horizontal and egalitarian way of working, creating and making and living culture, based on the sum of the individualities that are part of this vital project. About a year ago we began to question the very concept of collective/collectivity, in terms of the ways of doing things in society, in a historical context in which individuality has been exalted and strengthened. We wanted to give different artists or anyone who wants to question themselves the possibility of reflecting on this concept. Today, from this moment in which we live, where it is the strength of the common that enables us to reconstruct this present in the most harmonious way possible, I would like to return to this idea and challenge you to generate a dialogue based on these thoughts and being able to go little by little debating and creating a good reflective fabric regarding what we want to build around us and how we want to do it.
We will start by uploading some videos of talks that we have been having over the last few months. We can start with our own texts or those of others, words, videos, any format will be well received and any proposal to carry it out.
